TL;DR — When a licence ends or is switched off, the film leaves the catalog and new tickets answer
403not_entitledwithin 30 seconds. Tickets already issued keep playing until they expire (at most 30 minutes): design the app so playback can end with an error at any moment. On your side: stop selling, apply your refund policy, keep the row (unavailable, not deleted), and stop using its creatives after the rights day.

Nothing announces these changes: your catalog sync sees them.
What you do
- Stop selling the film once your catalog sync confirms it is gone (two complete walks).
- Keep the row, marked unavailable: viewers' purchases and history point at it.
- Show the agreed message to viewers who had paid ("This title is no longer available").
- Apply your refund policy, as agreed with your support team.
- Creatives: stop using them after the UTC day of
rights.ends_at(ends_at + 86400). - Renewal: when the film comes back in the catalog, mark it available again.
Test it
Ask Wandura in your channel to end the licence of one test film. After the next two syncs it must be hidden, and a ticket request for it must answer 403 not_entitled. See Testing.
