# Branding

A brand kit stores your logo, colours, display brand name and call-to-action (CTA) presets, so creatives can carry your branding without setting it up each time. You pick a brand kit and a CTA per row on the Create screen. Admins manage brand kits; marketers can view them and apply them to creatives.

When the formula for a creative uses branding, the display brand name and the chosen CTA appear as text boxes during the last 3 seconds of the creative, in the kit's colours.

## Who can do what

| Action | Admin | Marketer |
|---|---|---|
| View brand kits and their version history | Yes | Yes |
| Apply a kit and CTA to creatives | Yes | Yes |
| Create, edit, set default, duplicate, archive, restore, delete | Yes | No |

Partners and developers have no access to Branding. While your organisation is suspended, nobody can change branding; nothing already saved is deleted.

## Create a brand kit

1. Open **Branding** under **Setup** and press **New brand kit**.
2. Under **Identity**, enter a **Kit name** (up to 80 characters, for your team) and a **Display brand name** (up to 120 characters, the name viewers see).
3. Under **Colors**, set the four colours. **Primary** fills the CTA box, **Accent** outlines it, **Text** is the foreground colour, and **Background** fills the brand-name box. The preview warns you if the text contrast is too low.
4. Under **Calls to action**, press **Add CTA** for each label you want, and choose a **Default CTA**.
5. Press **Save branding**.
6. Upload a logo. Save the kit and any pending edits first; the upload is available only on a saved kit.

### Logo requirements

| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| File types | PNG, JPEG or WebP |
| File size | 5 MiB maximum |
| Dimensions | 4096 px per side and 16 million pixels maximum |

To remove a logo, press **Remove logo on next save**, then **Save branding**.

> **Note:** A CTA is text drawn on the video. The video carries no clickable link; the ad's destination link is set wherever the ad is created.

> **Note:** The preview on the kit page shows the layout only, in portrait and square. It is not a render of your video.

## Manage brand kits

The **Branding** list shows each kit's logo, name, whether it is the default, its status and revision. Search by name and filter by **Active**, **Archived** or **All**.

| Action | Available on | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Set default | Active kits | Makes this kit the one preselected on new Create rows. |
| Duplicate | Active and archived kits | Copies the kit under a new name you choose. |
| Archive | Active kits | Takes the kit out of use without deleting it. An archived kit is read-only. |
| Restore | Archived kits | Makes the kit active again. |
| Delete | Active and archived kits | Deletes the kit. A kit already used by a creative cannot be deleted; archive it instead. |

Every save creates a new revision, listed under **Version history** on the kit page. Creatives keep the branding version they were made with, so editing a kit later does not change creatives you already built.

If someone else saved the kit while you were editing, the portal keeps your edits and offers **Reload latest** so you can start again from the newest version.
